Fire and Dice Finish 4th at Autumn ITT as we go undefeated (photo dump/mini blog.)

Not a proper blog this week - more a photo dump as I didn't get much sleep over the event and I'm sleepy and I also didn't charge my tablet I used to take photo's and it died during the event so ended up taking much less.

Mini Morty DP is charged by everything I can throw at it.

Same list as last week - big WE aaagh rush smash hit were shooting phase mostly exists to throw grenades and maybe waste a minuite of my clock shooting bolt pistols.

Team Mates Byron on Daemons (Captain), Denis on Necrons, Sam on CSM, Matt on Aeldari.

First Round v DKQR Team Alpha Super Awesome Cool Dynamite Wolf Squadron

Paired in a nuetral match up Death Guard (Morty Index) with fights first PM brick. Few turns skirminishing and drawing up the Mini-Morty DP who took a Slaughterbound/Exalated/Bezerker brick to the phase and tanked it. Match was pretty even until I managed a Exalated Rapid Ingress play onto DG's home objective to sneak ahead and have a turn of denying DG any primary and Heroiced my other Beserker Brick into a fights first Plague Marine unit - they were streched out so only a couple could hit me (most were hitting spawn) and it was better than charging them. Won the fight and middle briefly before Morty and DG remanants did some nasty things to me, and I spent the last two turns sitting around next to Morty, doing no charges so he couldn't heroic into me and using OC to boss objectives. 88-71/13-7 win to DG

65 - 35 win to us as a team. Big win for Byron, 1 draw and 3 other slender wins getting us the round.

Round 2 v Mambo No 5 RB

Paired into Custodes - slightly favoured match up and if they didn't have Callidus/reactive move would have been more confident. Thankfully I killed a Warden Brick through 4+Fnp in my turn one after they killed some spawn and I baited out the reactive with some 8Bound allowing a fully buffed Bezerker brick to tear them apart. Custodes counter attack didn't hit hard through -1 damage and ran over them from their. Only thing that stopped a 20-0 was a Venetari unit coming down in my backlines for a few turns and managing a 12 inch charge into Kharn late on for some big points (Assassinate/Kill/Storm) but otherwise was one way traffic.

68-32 win to us as a team. 3 big wins for us (mine the smallest) with Denis winning the Necron mirror 20-0 to secure the round against two very narrow loss.

Round 3 v Clap or Be Clapped (PSSN)

Matrix was rough here for me with lots of anti-combat tech and I ended up into Gladius Black Templars going first on Hidden Supplies. Pretty confident I couldn't engage BT with them able to reactive move into Transports and with no shooting to pop them. Played ultra cagey doing I think only 3 succesfful charges in the game plus one long bomb fail into the Combi-Lietutant. BT tried to push a couple of times but got repulsed and I stalled out for a 54-69 or 8/12loss with 15 primary for second player bieng the difference, might have even snuck a win going second but I was honestly delighted with this.

Round was even 50-50 draw, big win for Byron countered their big win with other 3 games even overall score.

Round 4 v Waaagh Boys

Paired into "my" PBZ list with my Opponent Ollie even saying he'd been inspired by my blog to run this list which was very cool so no excuses for not bieng familar with it from my side. Staged turn 1 and delivered a brutal turn 2, killing 15 Possessed and most of Ollies chaff thanks to 3 inch engagment range shenigans (played similarly albiet correctly to Sisters last week). When Possessed only killed 3ish Bezekers on the hit back through mix of -1 damage and good saves games was over and it was a case of maximising points with CSM tabled bar a Vindicator very shortly after. 83- 34 win/19-1

Round was 71-29 in our favour 2 drawish games combined with above, big win for Byron and solid with for Denis to secure round.

Round 5 v Polaris

Paired into Tau in a who coin flip who goes first game. Tau went first jailed me and started killing at my chaff. One Beserker squad managed to break the lines and kill a Riptide (ever advance and charge roll they made over the game was a 6, every Hammerhead blast into them was a 6, Khorne was very happy.) Tau wracked up a big lead but I managed to keep 'conning' them on primary through surge/sticky on death threats and despite never getting into their deployment zone (or indeed the right half of the board), having a Riptide get to my home objective and scoring only 19 points on primary despite a few redraws managed 45 primary somehow for a very respectable 74-80 loss (ending the game with 3 Jackals and 7ish Bezerkers/Juggerlord v almost all the Tau army minus a bif of chaff and Riptides) to keep it to 9-11 game despite telling most of my team mate all game I was going to loss 0-20.

Round was 68 - 32 with Matt smashing the Eldar mirror 17-3 and Byron keeping his streak of big wins with a 19-1 combing with 2 minor wins elsewere.

Came 4th as a team over some pretty crazy good teams. Very happy. No more WE for a bit.

Photo dump of things probably in a mixed up order below. If you click into them you can then scroll left and right in full screen view. If you wonder why their are almost no pics of the Tau game - was too busy worried I was about to be tabled at any point to take pics (which isn't great when combined with no sleep.)
